Despite their West Country address this lot are what you might describe
as well traveled. There's around four different nationalities amongst
the personnel, and two of the band come from countries that have a choice
of native tongues. Starting a language school when they all eventually
fetched up in Bristol ('We wanted to see if Portishead the town was as
dark as the band, it was actually quite airy with some nice views. But
we thought we'd stay in Bristol anyway' one wag from the band commented)
might have been one option.
